    Sorors, I'm so amazed and proud of you all and what you have a ccomplished with the chapter. Your sisterhood and commitment to our sorority is so strong. You guys have definitely fulfilled the dream we helped start 6yrs ago. Skee-Wee!

Sigma Nu

The members of Gamma Theta Omega Chapter began a journey to establish an undergraduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated at the University of Tampa about twenty-five years ago. On December 7, 2003 the dream became a reality. Sigma Nu Chapter was chartered with twelve young ladies that were initiated on this historic date. The chartered members were Tiffany Murphy,Erin Thorpe, Quilin Achat, Michelle Walker, Kimberly Williams, Carla Thomas, Tara Hasselbarth, Kimberly Martin, Rochelle Guthrie, Vanessa Hubbard, Renata Felder, and Iyandra Smith.
